I created a rails app and I got this message out of the box. I don't know what service-worker.js is, but I'm guessing it might be related to the default gem?

I am assuming this is from another application that uses webworkers. If you are using Firefox, go to menu> web developer> service workers and unregister the web worker from there (this is one way to do it). Another application will register it if needed.
