Tooltip position for cell in JTable

I have JTable

, and I want to change the default position for the cell's prompt JTable

. I want to display the cell's tooltip somewhere, not at the top of the same cell. Basically I want to have complete control over the behavior of this tool. Any suggestions?

This worked surprisingly easier than I thought.

Basically, if you override getToolTipLocation

in JTable

, you can specify the location of the tool tip even if that tip comes from a cell renderer like
