Knitr - Allows Sweave PDF to compile with errors

I use knitr

R Sweave very often to compile PDF with large document format. However, very often the compiled code is huge and small bugs lurk here and there. The document doesn't compile and I often try to find where errors are being exposed. Many times I even (desperately) abandoned the document and started all over again.

My question is, is it possible for the PDF to still compile with errors - basically like in many latex editors (Tex Studio) where the PDF is still generated even with errors in tables etc.

I also wanted to know what was the best with R Sweave. For me, at the moment, I am trying to save my codes in separate R scripts and then pipe them into the R Sweave document. This allows me to lighten my page a little .Rnw

and focus more on writing. It also makes it easier for me to know where the errors are. Any thoughts on this?
