.formValidation is not a function
Original problem:
My form validates correctly, but submits when it shouldn't.
Following http://formvalidation.io/examples/ajax-submit/
Viewing my console. I don't see any of the log statements under .on
"error" or "success". And the page just goes into itself. With data in the url. I don't know what I am missing here as it basically skips all .on
statements.
What's going on here?
Remember that validation only works on instructions .on
.
HTML:

Update with suggested update:
I tried @Arkni's suggestion while it seems to me to be in the right direction and now I am getting this:
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.3/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="{% static 'app/scripts/js/bootstrap/bootstrap.min.js' %}" ></script>
<script src="http://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jquery.validate/1.11.1/jquery.validate.min.js"></script>
<script src="{% static 'form_validation/js/formValidation.js' %}" ></script>
<script src="{% static 'form_validation/js/framework/bootstrap.min.js' %}" ></script>
<script src="//code.jquery.com/ui/1.11.4/jquery-ui.js"></script>
<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#service_path_form')
.formValidation({
framework: 'bootstrap',
icon: {
With this output:
FIX: While checking all my source files, I noticed that I was actually loading jquery 2.0.2 and 2.1.3, removing 2.0.2 fixed the problem.

Since you are using FormValidation you should try to remove jquery.validate.min.js as I am afraid of collision.
This jsfiddle works correctly:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.5/css/bootstrap.min.css">
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/vendor/formvalidation/css/formValidation.min.css">
<form id="service_path_form" class="form-horizontal">
<div class="form-group">
<label class="col-xs-3 control-label">Service Name</label>
<div class="col-xs-8">
<input type="text" class="form-control" name="service_path_name" placeholder="Name" />
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label class="col-xs-3 control-label">IP</label>
<div class="col-xs-5">
<input type="text" class="form-control" name="service_path_ip" placeholder="IP" />
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label class="col-xs-3 control-label">Description</label>
<div class="col-xs-8">
<textarea class="form-control" name="service_path_description" rows="3" placeholder="Write a short Description"></textarea>
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label class="col-xs-3 control-label">Enable</label>
<div class="col-xs-5">
<div class="radio">
<label>
<input type="radio" name="service_path_enabled" value="1" /> Enabled
</label>
</div>
<div class="radio">
<label>
<input type="radio" name="service_path_enabled" value="0" /> Disabled
</label>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<div class="col-xs-9 col-xs-offset-4">
<button type="submit" class="btn btn-primary" name="validate" value="Validate and Submit">Validate and Submit</button>

</div>
</form>

Here is the result showing what it looks like:
Hope this helps you.

As you said in your question, you are using FormValidation not BootstrapValidator .
So, to solve your problem, replace this
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#service_path_form')
.bootstrapValidator({ // <====
from
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#service_path_form')
.formValidation({ // <====
Some notes:
- FormValidation is the new name of BootstrapValidator since 0.6.0.
- BootstrapValidator is deprecated and no longer supported.
- See this tutorial for upgrading from BootstrapValidator to Formvalidation.
