Optimal file size for html5 background video stream using JWPlayer?

On my site home page, I have a html5 full screen background video playable through JWPlayer.

My internet connection is so fast that it loads instantly and plays great.

So I am wondering what would be the optimal file size or how to check this?

I currently have a quality 1 minute version with 10MB.

If you want to emulate different speeds on the Internet, check out Charles Proxy (http://www.charlesproxy.com/). I wouldn't talk about the "optimal" size for a bg video. As always, smaller is probably better as it is faster. Check your analytics and you can get a good idea of ​​what your audience is.
