Question

Android SlidingTabLayout bad positioning with crumbling toolbar

I have a collapsible toolbar with an image, it needs to move to the top when scrolling up. After that I want SlidingTabLayout, it has different tabs and it should follow the collapsible toolbar .

When the toolbar is collapsed, the layout will only show the collapsed toolbar and tabs.

Place the sliding tab outside of the collapsible toolbar, but still inside the app app:layout_behavior="@string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior"

drawer, and add to the viewpager.

I had the same problem. Place the tab layout, or in your case the siding tab layout, outside of the expandable toolbar layout and app bar layout. However, don't forget to place the tab layout in the parent layout with

app:layout_behavior="@string/appbar_scrolling_view_behavior"

For example,
