Unable to add schemas (xsd) in XML settings

Question

I'm trying to add an xsd file (schema) for XML in IntelliJ, but when I select any file, the add button is disabled .

To add the schema, I followed the following path:

File -> Settings -> Languages and Frameworks -> Schemes and DTDs - (+) in the "External Schemas and DTDs" section

The URI field at the top of the dialog is empty. Provide it and the OK button will be enabled.
