Hosting Amazon EC2 AWS. Installed Wordpress but can't find wp-content folder with SFTP
Tried looking for a solution online but I am so upset. I can barely code, I understand structure and all. So I am using amazon 12 month free hosting, started using it because Amazon CDN type didn't work on my hosting and I got tired of my hosting anyway. Hosting24 always slow, DNS and first byte issue.
SO. I connected to my amazon ec2 via filezilla. With all keys sftp, ppk, etc. And I can see the var folder, but not the www folder in the var folder. This is where I assume the wp-content folder is.
I have a basic Wordpress theme running right now and after right click and view SOURCE. I can see that it is at 55.313.xxx.xxx/wp-content/themes / ..... But I cannot find the wp-content folder or anything related to it and themes.
I am using ubuntu / bitnami wordpress on it. Therefore my username is ubuntu. Tried to grant me / var / www permissions but no such folder exists. Not sure what to do. I would appreciate a quick response. Thank.
EDITOR: HOLLY BUDDHA !!!!!! You know ... I had this problem for days and couldn't find a solution, but I found it under / opt / bitnami / apps / wordpress / htdocs / wp-content I would never have thought to look under APPS ... I'm really sorry. so I didn't even need to give me permission or anything ... people got me so confused here ...
I hope I helped someone else besides me xD
