Copy from browser palette to non-working non-working

Copy from browser palette in netbeans doesn't work. How could this happen? When I try to paste notepad it works, but when you try netbeans it doesn't work? I'm shocked

This problem has been known for over 10 years and has not yet been fixed.

Workaround: restart the IDE.
