Failed to execute: com.android.support:support-core-utils:25.3.1

I recently updated my android studio to api 25 with the latest sdk tools and repositories. But now I am getting gradle project sync. The base functionality will not work correctly and nothing will work after the upgrade. How can I fix this to work in android studio again?
