Setting up database notifications laravel 5.3

I am creating laravel 5.3 database notifications. I have created notifications according to the video posted at https://laracasts.com/series/whats-new-in-laravel-5-3/episodes/10.Now I want to add custom fields to the notification table as per my requirement ... Please help me how to pass user data to the notification and access it.
