Xcode 7 Unable to determine the compiler to use

I am getting the following errors in Xcode 7 when I open my OS X app:

Unable to determine compiler to use - the abstract compiler specification is missing from this Xcode installation.

and

Unexpected tool settings, missing default value for VFS output path

I have tried rebooting as this one suggests, but to no avail. I am running OS X 10.10.4

Very lucky.

And I got this error this morning.



Everything went fine until yesterday and I haven't changed any settings. Just GUI changes. I switched between Yosemite and ELCap and the error occurred on both systems.

I had the same problem when the Xcode location was at /Application/Subfolder/Xcode.app



After going to / The problem with applications disappeared.
