Charles was unable to receive https requests

I have installed Charles Root certificate on my iOS device and my MacBook. However, when I use an iPhone with Charles, Charles cannot receive HTTPS requests. This shows that SSLHandshake: Received fatal alert: unknown_ca

My version is Charles 4.0.2 and I have installed the certificate on my Mac and trusted. My iOS version is 10.3.1 and I also installed the certificate on the iphone.

Can anyone help me with this? Many thanks.

iOS 10.3+ has introduced a new setting for granting permission for certificates. Since you have Charles certificate installed, all you need to do is go to Settings> General> About> Trusted Client Trust Options> Include Certificate. Hope this helps you.
