Images in html response not showing in chrome extension

When the response contains html with images, and those images have an attribute src

in the form of a URL, the Chrome version of the Postman extension adds a "broken image" icon (like the one in the line below),

When using native version (requested linux and windows), the images contained in the html response are displayed.

Is this the intended behavior?
