Android studio emulator does not display screen correctly

I am trying to use an emulator in android studio but the screen is displayed with the wrong size and even position. This is what it looks like.

I tried changing Android device, Android operating system and disabling border, none of which solved my problems. I would appreciate some help. I'm afraid this issue is caused by DPI scaling - I have a high resolution screen.
