Error backing up Oracle IAM / WNA protocol to forms-based logon page when Microsoft Online Services logon assistant is installed

The first post is here. Having faced an issue where, on Windows 10, a Windows Native Authentication (WNA) Oracle Identity Access Management (IAM) backup to a forms-based login page always fails when installing the Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant (SIA). Whenever we delete an SIA, the WNA rollback to the form-based login page always succeeds. This error is 100% reproducible. We haven't tested on Windows 8 or Windows 7. I've researched this and there isn't much to read about SIA; it doesn't look customizable on the client side. Really want to avoid changing the code on the IAM WNA side.

Has anyone seen this before? It is a large corporate network that uses all Windows 10 computers running Oracle IAM for some applications, as well as Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 Active Directory to which all Windows 10 computers are connected. We are also standardized with Office 2016 with all internal servers that support Office applications such as Outlook, Lync, etc. In the cloud (Office 365).

Please let me know if I need to show the Oracle IAM / WNA SSO fallback code.

The Microsoft Online Services Sign-in Assistant is not configurable. But, if all of your computers are running Office 2016, you still don't need to and it can be safely removed, which as you said will make the form based backup work. If you're using Office 2013, you'll need this. Office 2016 applications such as Outlook and Lync can work directly with ADFS, whereas previous versions could not. I don't have a URL link for you, this is based on my experience.
