Tensorflow ImportError: No module named '_pywrap_tensorflow_internal' on Windows 10

I am self catering with Udacity. There is a normal environment that I ran on Windows 10 and I managed to run fineorflow fine, but I want to use the GPU.

My GPU is listed as compatible (GTX 950M).

I ran tensorflow commands on windows 10 to add the GPU:

https://www.tensorflow.org/install/install_windows

and download and install cuda_8.0.61_win10

Then I restarted the environment. I have verified that it works with a simple python program:

import tensorflow as tf

# Create TensorFlow object called tensor
hello_constant = tf.constant('Hello World!')

with tf.Session() as sess:
    # Run the tf.constant operation in the session
    output = sess.run(hello_constant)
    print(output)

The penalty is executed as follows:

(carnd-term1) D:\SelfDrivingCar\tensor-exp>python hello.py
b'Hello World!'

Then I installed the gpu stream tensor version:

(carnd-term1) D:\SelfDrivingCar\CarND-Traffic-Sign-Classifier-Project>pip install tensorflow-gpu

Failed to load the native TensorFlow runtime.

See https://www.tensorflow.org/install/install_sources#common_installation_problems

for some common reasons and solutions. Include the entire stack trace
above this error message when asking for help.

I removed the environment and repeated the whole process using the following command:

pip install --ignore-installed --upgrade https://storage.googleapis.com/tensorflow/windows/gpu/tensorflow_gpu-1.1.0-cp35-cp35m-win_amd64.whl

and got the same result.

Doesn't work ( Unable to import Tensorflow for GPU in Windows 10 ) because there is no cudnn64_6.dll file in the specified directory.

Any ideas why the import error is coming from?

You need to install cudnn. Currently, only version 5.1 is officially supported. Don't know if the renaming trick applies for 6.0:
