Uicollectionview horizontal scrolling with fixed title

Attempting to create a custom collection view template that allows for a sticky / fixed header when the collection view is scrolled horizontally. The cells will sit below the header while paging is on.

Vertically, I can call layout.sectionHeadersPinToVisibleBounds = true

along the side by setting the size of the heading title, which will attach the title to the top. However, the horziontally heading jumps and sits to the left of the window while sitting at the top.
