PEP-Proxy-Steelskin Log Configuration

I am setting up FIWARE PEP-Proxy-steelskin without RPM because it is installed on Ubuntu machine. No log appears in / var / log / pepProxy after installation, and I'm afraid this is related to the installation.

Is there a way to create a log without RPM?

It really is. Steelskin is not logged to a specific file, but to stdout. This is why you don't see any logon in / var / log. To get the log, simply redirect to standard output:

nohup bin/pepProxy &> /var/log/pepProxy.log

In this case, you will need to manage the logs with external tools such as logrotate, just like the RPM specification does.
