NFS client under WSL - mount.nfs: no such device

I am getting the following error trying to install nfs export.

sudo mount 192.168.1.175:/mnt/nas /mnt/c/nas
mount.nfs: No such device

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The error indicates that nfs kernel modules are not loaded correctly and also check the exported path "/ mnt / nas" on server "192.168.1.175" or not.

There seems to be no answer to this. For me, the NFS Server (NAS) I am trying to mount from my WSL host works and "showmount -e" shows one export. But trying to mount it gives me "mount.nfs: No such device". I have installed the nfs-common package, but I suspect there are / are more packages that are required for my host to be an NFSv3 client?
