Difference between grunt-contrib-sass and grunt-sass

I am implementing a grunt plugin to handle sass for css, but there are 2 options available for grunt-contrib-sass and grunt-sass. I have searched the web but could not find an answer to any answer. What's the difference between grunt-contrib-sass and grunt-sass, which one is better?

grunt-sass uses C ++ libsass and grunt-contrib-sass uses Ruby sass
