JENKS error for Google Connection Addresses

I have configured Jenkins and you need to enable the Google Login plugin. As per the plugin documentation, I am trying to generate a google client id. The documentation says to enter " Redirect URIs " as follows. But when I enter this into the App Console to generate the Client ID, Google says it is "Invalid URL"

http://XX.XX.228.XX:8080/securityRealm/finishLogin

When I directly load this page in the browser, this error is displayed with a 500 status code enter image description here

Note. My url is a public url

Allowed redirect urls (second input on form) should be, url of your Jenkins + '/securityRealm/finishLogin'

Google does not allow public IP addresses in authorized URIs. This could be one of the reasons causing this exception.
