`pip install mysql-python` fails with" ld: library not found for -lssl "
Startup pip install mysql-python
fails:
cc -bundle -undefined dynamic_lookup -arch i386 -arch x86_64 -Wl,-F. build/temp.macosx-10.12-intel-2.7/_mysql.o -L/usr/local/Cellar/mysql/5.7.13/lib -lmysqlclient -lssl -lcrypto -o build/lib.macosx-10.12-intel-2.7/_mysql.so
ld: library not found for -lssl
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
error: command 'cc' failed with exit status 1
I am guessing it is some SSL library that was not installed correctly.
Any suggestions?

You need to find if you have openssl libs and where are they located:
sudo find / -name "openssl"
I got it here:

And to install the python package you will need to use:
env LDFLAGS="-I/usr/local/opt/openssl/include -L/usr/local/opt/openssl/lib" pip install MySQL-python
