error output image

Page

welcome.jsp does not have access to

If welcome.jsp is replaced with welcome.html, then the output is correct (in this case, the problem does not arise)

but I can't access the welcome.jsp file in this Spring boot application

Why does html have access and why does jsp not have access?

please give a solution

I think it was the Spring version: I change the version to 1.4.1, then> mvn clean install it worked for me. And I am using

<dependency>
    <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
    <artifactId>spring-boot-starter-tomcat</artifactId>
    <scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
    <groupId>org.apache.tomcat.embed</groupId>
    <artifactId>tomcat-embed-jasper</artifactId>
    <scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>

hope this helps
