Avoid In-Memory Errors for Large Images The minimum Android api level should be Froyo (8)

My requirement is to load large image sizes over 10MB into Android, but the minimum api level should be 8. I used to use Volley Image Request to load an image, but the application throws an error out of memory. I tried with Picasso but still get out of memory error. Then I implemented this functionality using HttpsURLConnection

with this code i can upload large size images without any error. Can anyone suggest this good way to upload images? Could there be another way to do this?
