Youtube subtitles not showing for embedded video - not even a button

For all videos with subtitles (even a button) when you embed a video in an iframe (directly or via API)

Google example: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/171780?hl=en

If you click "watch on YouTube", a "subtitle" will appear that is not present in the embedded view. I've tried cc_load_policy, cc_lang_pref and other things, but nothing seems to work ...

Please, help.

I'm guessing something changed between yesterday and today, as I just posted the following question today:

youtube-iframe-api subtitle issues

Someone also pointed out that the code was changed YESTERDAY in the Player IFrame API.

Experiencing the same issue with our embedded videos across all browser platforms. The issue was first noticed on 6/13/17 on our side. The CC parameter is missing from all embedded videos, even though .srt files are available and work as previously expected.

I hope YouTube straightens up quickly. We are a global company with over 100,000 employees and we have already received testimonials from hearing impaired users that they made our videos unusable.

We are facing the same problem. Upon further inspection, it appears that the signature module is no longer provided for embedding.

I had the same problem, but it looks like it got fixed since it works now.

It seems to be a temporary youtube bug ... subtitles work again in embedded videos from 06/15/2017 ...
