Shinydashboard: 'restoreInput' is not an exported object from 'namespace: shiny'

I am using RStudio to create a new Shiny app. I copy and paste the sample code from https://rdrr.io/cran/shinydashboard/man/renderValueBox.html in app.R. I am getting this error:

UPDATE: 1) I tried a sample from another machine and produced the same error. 2) I have also adopted the shinydashboard skeletal panel application and reproduced this error.
