Can Android N ART be replaced with Android M?

In the original AOSP 7 tree, can Android 6 be used art/

instead of the original Android 7 art/

?

I never remember seeing such replacements before, but is it possible out of quick wits? You may ask me why? The answer is all aboutxposed... Xposed does not currently support Android N, but it does a good job. So my question would be this: Is replacing N ART with M ART an option to enable Xposed on N? If the answer is no, please let me know why.

I think it's impossible. Nougat internals are different from Marshmallow, so you can't just get some kind of system component from older Androids and replace it.
