Strict option ... with exceptions?

Strict option ... with exceptions?

I like to use the strict option, for "discipline" it affects you. However, there are a few cases, you simply cannot find any variant of highly compatible code. For example, when you use WScript, I don't know anything other than CreateObject ... Is there a way to "disable" the strict option on multiple lines?
