Creating a new Ionic project via Ionic CLI unexpectedly started producing npm / git errors

I started learning Ionic 2/3 a couple of days ago and created some demo projects as well as the following tutorials. Now I tried to create a new project again, but this error suddenly started showing up. I tried to find why this is happening, but all I found were just vague answers or unrelated ones.

npm WARN deprecated object-keys@0.2.0: Please update to the latest object-keys

Some answers recommend downgrading my NPM, but I don't think this is the correct way to resolve this as I haven't done any update.
