How to add a Telegram bot to an existing private channel

Is there a way to add a Telegram bot to my existing personal channels? When I click the "Add to Group" button on my bot profile page, I do not see this channel in the list, although I am in this channel.

Bots can only be a channel administrator. You must be the creator or authorized administrator of this channel to be able to add a bot as an administrator of this channel.



Ask an authorized administrator to add your bot to this channel, otherwise use telegram clients instead of bots. (Telegram open source and released cli, web, android, ... source codes)
