How to display stereoscopic images on a web page?

Simple question, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. It looks like there is no native browser support for this support (but I might be wrong, and it is possible that an image format that supports stereoscopic data is supported by at least one web browser).

I'm not talking about things like anaglyph or side-by-side, the goal is to bring stereoscopic images to stereoscopic monitors (which often include electric glasses).

So how to do this without having to run unlimited code through ActiveX or npapi for quadranting?
