Creating a custom image of Android Things, including my own apps

I am planning to use a Raspberry PI project for Android Things, I can run the default image (androidthings_rpi3_devpreview_4_1.zip) on top of it. I have installed my apps. Now is there a way to create a custom image with included apps so that it can be shared with the client?
