Warning icon for cs file in solution explorer

I started getting a warning icon for almost every file that I edit

Now it looks like an error because my code is working fine and the icon disappears if I restart Visual Studio.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? What does this icon mean? and if anyone knows how to fix this?

For the record, I'm using Visual Studio 2017 with the latest update release.
