Can the server read the Request.Meta data sent with scrapy?

The code below is basically a sample Amazon Spider .
I want to know if the Amazon server (or any other server) can know what data we are passing to scrapy Request.meta strong>. If Request.meta is not passed with our request, then how do we get this metadata into our response.meta.

Can someone explain how scrapy request.meta and response.meta work ?

Not.

You can see which request is being sent to the origin by checking the attributes request.body

and request.headers

.

the attribute is only used by scrapy to persist some data between requests.
for example you make a request to a website with meta={'name':'foo'}

and then the timetable of the schedule that is requested and once the response is ready it makes an object Response

with this meta + information it calculates itself and passes it to your function Request.callback
