Which Samsung devices don't support the native fingerprint API?

My guess is pre-marshmallow OS phones don't support the fingerprint API. my question is: (a) Do all / any Samsung phones release anti-virus fingerprint with marshmallow (b) Do any Samsung phones which OS upgrade to marshmallow support the Android fingerprint API?

but there are no definitive answers. Also the Samsung website mentions all samsung devices support Pass SDK but does not mention android fingerprint API support.
