RAD Studio takes a very long time to open

I have used RAD 10.1 (Berlin) with no problems so far ... Last month I applied Windows Creator Update and was busy with other companies ... Now, every time I start the IDE, the download progresses quickly to "All packages downloaded development time ". At this time, RAD studio is sitting at its peak and consumes ~ 25% of the CPU. It will take at least 10 minutes before the IDE appears ...

I installed RAD 10.2 (Tokyo) and all the fixes provided, hoping for a fix ... But the problem remains the same.

I cannot go back to a previous version of Windows 10 (more than 10 days after installation).

I was already looking for an answer and Matthias E assumed it was linked from https://quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-17972 . But, in my case, it costs a (very) long period just to load the IDE, even if there is no project load (auto). I am not talking about a period of time to load a project or to start a project execution or even to start an application execution. After loading the IDE (after ~ 20 ') everything (edit, compile, build, debug, execute) is fast ... I'm used to never closing the IDE after opening, but this is especially disturbing.

could you help me?

Description

The debugger sets out to find everyone in our organization with Creators and Tokyo / Berlin. A return to Windows Anniversary brings back common sense. Debugger issues with Tokyo / Berlin and the creators: Application takes a long time to load modules on load and unload and reload many times IDE freezes Memory consumption bds.exe explodes, sometimes (> 3GB) I will attach before and after screenshots showing how modules are loaded and unloaded and reloaded using Windows 10 Creators. I believe these issues have the same root cause than https://forums.embarcadero.com/thread.jspa?messageID=884382 *

Thanks to Lieven Keersmaekers' suggestion to use procmon, I was able to find the cause of the problem. RAD studio struggled to access the huge (128GB) ZIP archive (see Qed-electronic.com/Download/170808-ProcMonTrace.jpg). I just moved the backup file to a different location and RAD studio now starts up as before. I have no idea why RAD wanted to access this file so badly: none of my project files were located in this zip file. The Windows Creator update apparently wasn't at fault ...
