CrystalReportsViewer toolbar strange behavior

I have a problem with the toolbar CrystalReportsViewer's

that puzzles me. Let's say I have a five-page report.

  • If I click on the next button I get to page two

as expected, but if I click it again it will page two

    reboot!

  • I can click the button last page

    and go to last page

, but if I try to go to the previous page, I go back to page one

    .

So, no matter how many pages I have, I can only get to the first, second and last!

These problems started when we moved from Windows Server 2003

to 2008

. We are launching Crystal Reports 10

which may have problems in 2008? Responsible for any of the 2008 new safety materials?

Has anyone seen this behavior before and knows how to solve it? Thank!

Never seen this Dev tool before, so it won't be on our supported platforms.

I remember something like this and it was related to the screen resolution or zoom level.

Check out the source code for the page to see what it does. Compare this to VS.NET ASP.NET Application to see what the differences are.

I haven't seen this strange behavior before, but I know from a project I worked on a few months ago that Crystal Reports is not yet supported on Win2k8 / IIS7. I wish I could find the link that stated this for you, but I remember that I ran into this problem.

I had to go down the path of creating a virtual server to host Win2k3 in order to publish some reports.

Unfortunately this is not considered programming-related (although there were a certain number of programs to show reports and CrystalReportViewer is a server control) so sorry about that.

Thanks Ken for your input. I bet I am not helping us to use the old version of CR. Perhaps your route with the 2003 VM is the best fit.
