Ria services wizard with given Entity model problem?
Imagine this structure. Solution with the following projects
- / Backend (RIA Silverlight client)
- /Backend.Web(RIA Silverlight Host / Service)
- / Core (includes a utility)
- /Frontend.Web (first line MVC app)
The entity framework framework built into / Core should be visible in the Backend.Web IF if there is a link. What is. Now that the New Domain Service Wizard appears, it will happily find the Entity Model, but it will not enable the "Create Associated Classes for Metadata" option.
The only solution seems to be putting the Edmx file in /Backend.Web - but that seems ugly to me :)

It looks like this scenario is better handled using the "RIAServicesLibrary" as mentioned by @brada in the blog post .
