Is NetBiscuits Good?

Does anyone have any real history of building mobile websites with NetBiscuits?

Someone told me that this was the next big thing in mobile development ( http://www.netbiscuits.com/home ) and it looks pretty good from their site. Just wondered if anyone (other than them) actually used it.

After working with this for several months, I can say that they are indeed some of the best (if not the best). The support is also insanely fast and good.

The only thing that makes me stop using is the price. Especially if you are a small company and want to use your POI feature.

However, I have yet to find a good replacement. May end up pumping my own version ...

They created a whole xml (bml) based markup language that emulates html which has a very steep learning curve. I would seriously reconsider using it.

I've seen it work beautifully. It also supports the ASP.NET Management SDK that you can use to write an ASP.NET application from within Visual Studio. Once this application is deployed in your premise, you can use the Live Bridge agent to connect this application to the Live Bridge server that hosts the Net Biscuits hosts. In this case, your application is called a backend application. This is a very useful feature when you want to have form capabilities in your application and also want it to be available on the NetBiscuits platform.

Check http://kb.netbiscuits.com/tactile/edc/livebridge_help.html . BiscuitML is also easier to understand.

Look out for performance issues, however. Customers in Australia were having trouble answering - likely due to the fact that the Cloud Platform is based in the US / UK.
