How good is Mootools compatibility?
A colleague of mine had a Mootools compatibility issue and was wondering if anyone else noticed this? He said that his main problem was trying to use the drag and drop functionality offered in the older version. I've never looked at this myself, but when I mentioned it by asking the same question for JQuery, others didn't seem to have the same problem.
So on Stackoverflow, have you ever noticed a Mootools backward compatibility issue?

Mootools 1.2 is not fully backward compatible with Mootools 1.11. You can find some information on what changed in the Mootools Wiki and I also found Siafoo's article on upgrading to 1.2 very useful in the past.
Updating old scripts usually involves finding outdated method references and replacing them with new ones; easy, just minor pain.
