How can I turn off the display of tags at the bottom of the Visual Studio source window?

Visual Studio tries to help by showing all nested tags where the cursor is (displayed at the bottom of the code window, next to the "Desgn | Split | Source" options), but I never use it and it seems to slow down when I just try to ply past large blocks of code. Is there a way to disable this feature?

A quick look at Tools -> Options -> HTML Designer doesn't seem to provide an option to disable this. You can set the default view, but there is no on / off option.
