Web store version control for a very small group or individuals?

For very small teams or an individual developer, is there a source code management tool that is a web service or web application at no cost?

Ideally this would work with Microsoft development. An IDE integration would be awesome, but a Windows application that connects to a web service would suffice as well.

Do you think such a product is marketable?

I would recommend Codespaces . It has a free plan and the next plan is only $ 3 per month. It comes with project planning and lots of goodies. Look at the screenshots page, pretty nice.

GitHub is free if you use OpenSource for the project and only $ 7 / month for personal plans. http://github.com/plans

I don't know much about the IDE's integration capability.

There used to be announcements on this site for BeanStalk . Free for one repository / 3 users. There are several tools for integrating SVN with IDEs - try VisualSVN .
