Titanium Developer for iPhone

Exploring Native iPhone Application Development with Titanium Developer

Since this is still in beta, I am wondering if there are any better options and / or if it is a good idea to use such software to develop native applications (which are not games, not graphics)

If you don't want to wait, you can do what many of us have done: develop apps with Cocoa Touch. It works great for games as well as non-graphics applications.

A similar and more mature PhoneGap framework has been used in a number of iPhone apps, and Apple only seems to mind if the AutoUpdates app.

I would not recommend using web frameworks if your application is really simple - you will get a much better experience from your own application (on Android and iPhone).

My company uses Titanium and still works. It's also nice to develop an iPhone app using javascript and co. I would suggest you give it a try, it's very simple to set up and start coding.
