How can I keep the wx.html.HtmlWindow at the same position during resizing (no flickering)?

I want to resize the html window but keep the scroll position. This example almost works, but flickers.
To check:
- load a good sized html file using the Load Html File button

- scroll down
- resize the window.

The window keeps the same position with the dimensions, but it flickers horribly. I think the code for the htmlwindow is resetting the scroll position to 0 every size. I would like it to not redraw until the scroll position is fixed in the post_resize function.

I have tried various freeze / thaw combinations and tried to hook red events but had no success. Suggestions?

I got around this issue by using a ScrolledPanel (which doesn't reset its scroll position) when rendering text directly. (I used the html panel for color-coded text only).
