How does the licensing model for Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 work?
I am confused about the licensing model for Microsoft PerformancePoint Server.
When I look at http://www.microsoft.com/business/performancepoint/howtobuy/default.aspx
I see a $ 20,000 server license plus a $ 200 CAL. But the language is a bit vague as to what this means - is a CAl required for any user viewing reports or for report developers / creators?
Thank you so much,
d

This is included in the Enterprise License in MOSS 2007 now.

I'm not a lawyer or anything, but this license term is like something Microsoft can't actually provide. Sometimes they set license terms that are legally unfounded (i.e. they can't sue you and win), and just assume that you follow the license because you're afraid.
