SVN - Unable to check out a file previously deleted and then restore to the repo

There are files / folders that have been removed and then re-added to the repository.

svn update> gives me an updated version. files and folders show up correctly in svn repository, if I run 'svn update' 'svn diff' my workspace folder seems to be synced but files / folders are not being dumped ... any idea what the problem is?

If I run the project from scratch again, the files / folders are checked correctly

You may be facing a problem

From the article:

With client 1.6.1 there is a situation where new files are not checked out from the update.

This happens when adding a new folder with --depth = empty, which is what TSVN uses to avoid the user not wanting to add the add automatically either. See the comments in the script.

Solution (thanks to wcoenen):

svn update --set-depth infinity

I would try to do a clean "svn checkout". Sometimes local information does not sync properly when these kinds of effects occur.

Try to cleanup the folder

Remember to check "Revert All Changes Recursively"

If you are using TortoiseSVN you can try using the cleanup function in the context menu.
