What application do you use to publish screenshots and code within your company?

I feel the need to share my screen with other people. Asking for help or showing you how to do it. I also feel the need to report my progress, for example in a Twitter style report style.

This information does not fit in the mailbox. (or I don't reset in other mailboxes.)

What applications are there or are used for this? (screendumps, code and reports)

If you're looking for your own Twitter account, you might want to customize Laconica. ( http://laconi.ca ) This is a PHP Microblogging service that you can run on your intranet if you like.



For screenshots, I also recommend skitch ( http://skitch.com/ ), which is mac dependent ... You can still use it as an image hub for sharing and commenting screenshots, but you can't use the (really awesome) app for screenshots on windows.

I would use Wiki or blog.

You can post your screenshots and additional text there.



Both are good discussion platforms.

screenhunter is an excellent screen capture utility. It might not be what you were shooting at though.

I found the desktop sharing tool useful if you need help with the code ( link text , for example).
