Custom Products in Drupal or OSCommerce?

I looked high and low. I think I am not looking for suitable material.

I want to know about a module or plugin for drupal or oscommerce that allows you to "create your own products". That is, the Client can go to the site and say that he wants PC A, with X amount of RAM and hard disk Z, etc.

  • Is there a plugin or module for oscommerce or drupal that does this?
  • If not, what are some tips for assigning node relationships in Drupal?
  • If not, any tips on how to do this with OSCommerce?

With a few minutes of research, I found a few Drupal modules that you could split up to get what you want. I am not very familiar with Uberkart depths, this is my initial approach.

Ubercart , UC Custom Price , UC Node Checkout and CCK (for nodereference).



Ubercart is the premier e-commerce solution for Drupal. UC Node Checkout allows you to add Node to your shopping cart when you create it. Node Links allow users to link to existing products when they create their custom node product. Finally, the UC custom price should allow you to dynamically set the custom price of a product by extracting pricing information from specified components.
