Web Application Support - Website

I am creating an e-shop in ASP.NET + C # for a client. First of all, I would like to ask if anyone knows how good Crystal Tech web hosting is (and not a dedicated server package as it is somewhat expensive);

Secondly, I want to ask what kind of support - service - guarantees that I have to provide to my client, and what issues I need to know about this are likely to show up on the website.

In less words, I would like to ask all of you more experienced developers what common mistakes I should avoid and pay for if I ask my client to protect him from them.

My advice to your client would be to have someone on the team have experience with e-commerce. I'm not going to be offended - this is standard advice - there are many potential bugs that, if not handled properly, could cost your client. Perhaps you could subcontract someone who has done this before.

Don't know, Crystal Tech as host ...

In general, in terms of support, etc. I would:

For hosting your application, never offer anything that the hosting company has to offer you. It may be better to just say your hosting (customers can get a better feel)

If there is a marketing campaign - there might be excessive traffic to the site, which means it might break - so get this. Customers usually understand this in terms of value risk. BUT offer a sliding scale based on what the hosting company can provide if they want to refine the maximum.

For software support - usually you (your company) have to offer extended support you will need things like Response Time, Fix Time, Resolution Time, and then the cost based on the differences for them.

Bronze Silver Gold etc.

Then see what you cost ...

The cost of my 2 cents

Hope it helps. /

Only my thoughts
